About Me!

Welcome to my website :-) I hope you enjoy my work!

I’m a mixed Japanese non-binary + queer tattoo artist and illustrator from Vancouver, BC. I enjoy doing Japanese folklore, strange creatures, scary women, botanicals, and animals. Movement and emotion is something I really love to infuse into my work, so whether you’re looking for flash, custom, freehand, or a coverup - I look to makes things with bite!

I began tattooing as a humble handpoke kitchen wizard in 2014, and it remained a constant practice that weaved through life until I started teaching myself machine tattooing in 2019 and eventually went full time in 2021. I am grateful to be self guided and community taught, and have big love and thanks to everyone who has let me tattoo them. I hope to be twice as good by next year!

My favourite work to do is biiiiiig stuff. Being playful and explorative is such a treat and having room to sprawl is where I flourish. I love the transformation that comes with rocking large tattoos and the confidence and grounding in ones body that it brings my clients. I hope to be a conduit of desires, helping people transmute their visions into reality.

As an illustrator, I’ve been enjoying making poster sized penwork with a central figure surrounded by repetitive elements. This practice is very relaxing and meditative for me, and at the same time incredibly tedious and often what my friends have deemed “hand torture”. Such is the duality of man.

In my spare time, I love playing piano, half finishing video games, and wandering aimlessly.

If you’re interested in working together, drop me a line! I love guesting and travelling to new places for work; so don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter to see if I’m coming to a city near you :-)
