Booking

Please be as descriptive as possible when booking with me so that I can give you the most accurate quote + timeline.

I reserve the right to accept or reject any booking requests, based on my availability and my practice at the time.

I do not do hand/neck/face tattoos for first time clients, and I recommend booking a smaller tattoo with me first before committing to a large project so that we are comfortable with each other and you feel secure about me, and my space. 

I require a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure appointments - this goes towards your total at the end, unless you cancel/no show. I allow for 2 reschedules before requiring a new deposit. 

For projects that are sleeves/backs I require a $300 non-refundable deposit, that will go towards your final appointment. 

Please do not book a tattoo with me unless you are financially able to! Tattoos are a gift you give to yourself - do not put yourself through hardship for the sake of a tattoo. I am open all year round, and want you coming in feeling excited and good about your appointment. This also helps me to avoid cancellations so I appreciate your consideration.

Consultations

I do not like to do consultations as I have a poor working memory and e-mails typically contain all the information I need in order to get your design going.

If you need a consultation in order to feel more comfortable choosing me as your tattoo artist, you're welcome to come by for a 20 minute chat to get a feel for my process and space. This will not include stenciling but we will do some concept art. 

Pricing + Payment

Pricing varies from project to project, and I am always willing to work within your budget to make you something beautiful.

Flash designs and "one-shots" will be a flat rate - as they are usually not repeatable or multisession. If your tattoo requires a second appointment to finish, I require full payment up front + we also book your next appointment typically 3-4 weeks ahead so it can be finished in a timely manner. 

Sleeves/Back pieces are sliding scale $140-$200/hour depending on length of time and complexity, with shorter projects being a higher rate, and longer term projects a lower rate.

Large pieces go at the pace of life and there is no pressure to rush through or work on it once a month, but I do recommend trying to get larger pieces done within 1-2 years. 

My day rate is $1000-$1400 and this is for large "one-shot" tattoos that can be finished within 1 - 2 sessions.

Tipping is appreciated, but not mandatory. Please do not tip me with food :)

Lateness, Cancellations + No Shows

I am a very punctual person so I greatly appreciate you being on time (not early, or late) for your appointment.

I do not send reminder e-mails - you are responsible for your own schedule.

If you are running late and have not attempted to contact me via e-mail or text, I will assume you are not showing up and your deposit will be eaten and may have to pay a no-show fee of $75 to book again.  Do not contact me via Instagram if you are running late.

Cancellations should be made at least 72 hours in advance to allow me to book in somebody else. Please let me know as soon as possible for scheduling conflicts so that I can offer you different dates.

Tattoo Designs

Custom tattoo designs will be available to you at the time of your appointment and only available upon request as I design projects in order of them happening.

By commissioning me for custom work you agree that my style is agreeable to you and you trust my ability to fulfill your vision.

Studio Space + Pets + Minors + Guests

You will be given my studio address upon confirming your booking. It is not an accessible space, and requires you to climb a flight of stairs to access. If you have mobility issues, please let me know so I can find a more accessible space to work from!

Please do not bring guests, pets, children, or minors. Any plans you need to make to mind children or pets should be made in advance - cancellations due to lack of baby/pet sitter is at your own expense and subject to my cancellation policy.

Tattoo times can be variable and I am only able to give you an estimated timeline. Please do not commit to plans with others in a way that would make you feel rushed during our appointment.

If you would like to schedule an appointment where you and friend can get tattooed together, please e-mail me.

Preparations

Please come to your appointment in good health, well fed, rested, and wearing loose and comfortable clothing for the area getting worked on.

Do not wear nice clothing or light colours. For tattoos on legs, please bring shorts.

Prior to your appointment, I appreciate you gently exfoliating, shaving, and moisturizing the area you plan on getting tattooed. Please shave generously and avoid cutting the skin.

You are welcome to take Advil or muscle relaxant to help manage pain. If you require numbing, please let me know so I can give you application instructions/coordinate its use.

My studio is a shoe-less place so please wear clean socks :)

Touch-Ups

Touch-ups are free within a 3-month window granted that they have been well maintained and are fully healed. Any touch-ups after this window are $50/hour.

Tattoos that have been neglected/damaged by picking, soaking, sun damage, and general disregard of after care will be subject to my hourly rates for touch-ups.

Appointment Requirements

- Please bring your own face mask, ID, and headphones.

- Bring snacks and water for yourself. It helps!

-Avoid wearing perfume as I am scent sensitive (deodorant OK!)

- Please do not bring anyone else with you to your appointment without asking.

- Please arrive on time, no earlier than 5 minutes. 

- My space is shoe free, so please wear socks! 

- If you have any cold/flu-like symptoms, and/or have been informed that you may have had a COVID-19 exposure, let me know and I will reschedule you for a later date.
